A small café, coffee shop, and bakery with a few tables, fast service, and hand made breakfast sandwiches.

Anna and I were in Kanab hiking a slot canyon and wanted to grab breakfast before we started our hike. The breakfast place across the street from our motel was closed, so we looked for another option nearby and found Jakey's. Their Facebook page bills them as a Cafe, Coffee Shop, and Bakery and that's exactly what it is.

Nestled on a street corner in Kanab, its a small place with just a few small tables. The line to order was almost to the door, but that doesn't mean much considering how small the restaurant is. We quickly moved through the line, made our order, and had our food in just a few minutes.

You can get coffee, no surprise there, some baked items including bagels and breakfast sandwiches. We each got coffee (its cold there in the early morning in April) and a breakfast sandwich.

The breakfast sandwiches were carefully hand made, not thrown together in a batch. I really enjoyed mine.
