I visited a classic old diner famous for their connection to The Allman Brothers Band. I’d like to go back and try one of the breakfast biscuits or the Standard Breakfast.

We were in Macon for a concert (Gov't Mule and Tedeschi Trucks Band) and we were soaking up The Allman Brothers Band history in the town. The restaurant is "is most famous for its founders' unique friendship with the Allman Brothers Band", apparently the band used to hang out there when they were in town. There's paintings of the different band members on the walls inside. Its very clearly the kind of old, small diner we go looking for when we're on the road and hungry for breakfast.

The restaurant offers what looks like an amazing spread of breakfast biscuits. I don't remember what Anna had, but she loved it. I had the country fried steak, of course, and I really did not enjoy it. It was too heavy for me.

I know I'll go there again when I'm next in Macon, but I'll try one of the breakfast biscuits or the Standard Breakfast.
